What is the exponential time hypothesis explained simply
The exponential time hypothesis (ETH) is an assumption in computational complexity that says certain problems cannot be solved much faster than by checking nearly all possible solutions. More precisely, it suggests that for problems like 3-SAT, the fastest algorithms still take time that grows exponentially with the input size.
